About the Band
Greg Hoeth & Alan Chavis
Welcome to the official home of The Altacoustics, a Western Slope, Colorado-based acoustic duo that performs 90s and early-2000s alt rock covers, as well as originals, in an "unplugged," acoustic style.
Alan Chavis
Lead guitar, bass, and vocals. An accomplished guitarist who also plays in Colorado-based alternative rock group The Platonics. Originally from Oklahoma, Alan moved to Colorado in 2010.
Greg Hoeth
Lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Singer-songwriter (Home Page) and former frontman for Cleveland, OH-based band 13-13. Check out his solo work on Spotify.
